I’m running for Mayor to be a voice for all of us who feel unheard, overlooked, or left behind. Together, we can build a city that’s affordable, safe, and full of opportunity for every family, on every block.

Christina Freeman brings a lifetime of service, faith, and community leadership to her campaign for Mayor of Jersey City. Born and raised in the Greenville section of Jersey City, on Dwight Street, and grounded in the teachings of the Church Universal Full Gospel, Christina is a proud mother, dedicated police officer, and tireless advocate for everyday residents.

As a youth, Christina found mentorship and inspiration through the Police Athletic League (P.A.L.), sparking a lifelong commitment to service. She has continued that work as an adult, serving on the front lines as a police officer, volunteering with United Rescue and the B.L.E.S.C. organization, and giving back to the community at every opportunity. She is also an alumna of Rising Tide Capital.

While pursuing her degree in sociology at New Jersey City University, Christina has focused on the systemic challenges facing Jersey City, including housing insecurity, inequality, and youth disconnection. These aren't just subjects of study—they are real struggles she understands deeply as a public servant and single mother raising her child in the same community that raised her.

Christina Freeman is not a career politician—she’s a servant-leader grounded in real-world experience and ready to bring transparency, compassion, and common sense to City Hall. Her campaign is centered on putting people first and building a Jersey City that is safe, affordable, and inclusive for everyone.
